+ | • Funeral services for Walter M. Dettweiler, 75, a lifelong resident of the Halstead community, were held at the Kaufman Chapel there last Friday forenoon. Mr. Dettweiler died Sept. 6 at the Halstead Hospital. He attended the former Bethel Academy and was a graduate of the Wichita Fine Arts Institute. At one time he operated a furniture store in Halstead, and later was active in oil and gas development. He was a member of the Garden Township Mennonite Church. Survivors include two sisters and two brothers. |
