Newspaperman Suffers Fatal Heart Attack
Steinbach, Manitoba. — Bruno Derksen, 43, active in printing and weekly newspaper publishing here for more than 20 years, suffered a fatal heart attack Sunday evening, June 4.
Mr. Derksen was vice-president of Derksen Printers Ltd., publishers of the Carillon News of Steinbach, the Beausejour Beaver and the Emerson Journal. He was photographer for all three papers.
The funeral was conducted June 8 at the Grace Mennonite Church here.
Survivors include his widow and four children.
