•  Funeral services are to be held at the Bethel Mennonite Church at Greensburg on Wednesday afternoon for Irvin Wadel, 62, who died suddenly Dec. 30 at the Halstead Hospital.  Formerly employed as a dairy tester and a former Newton resident, Mr. Wadel had been an employee of the Hertzler Clinic the past six years and resided in Halstead.  Survivors include his widow, the former Edna dirks of Merced, Calif.; sons Stanley and Glenn Nielson and David D. Wadel, all of California; three brothers and four sisters.
