+ | ● Cornelius J. Classen, 62, died July 8 at his home at Carbondale, Kan. Services for the retired farmer and former Meade area resident were held Monday at the Meade EMB church with Rev. John Jackson in charge. Classen was married in 1936 to Katherine A. Isaac who died in 1973. In 1974 he married Bernice Long who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Isaac of Fresno, Calif. and Mrs. Lucile VonMosch of Independence, Mo.; six step-sons, two step-daughters; a foster son; four brothers, Pete L. of Meade, John L. of Hillsboro, Henry L. of DeRidder, La., and George L. of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Isaac and Mrs. Agatha Isaac, both of Meade, and Mrs. Helen Schierling of North Newton; and four grandchildren. |
