It is reported that Mr. Yoder had just tied the bull in a stall when the animal attacked him, crushing him against the manger. William Yoder, a nephew who was assisting at the farm, pulled him away from the bull and ran for help. However, Mr. Yoder died before a doctor arrived on the scene. | |||

Amish Farmer Killed In Attack by Bull
Goshen, Ind. — An attack by a bull resulted in almost instant death for Daniel W. Yoder, 67-year-old Ami h farmer residing northwest of Nappanee.
It is reported that Mr. Yoder had just tied the bull in a stall when the animal attacked him, crushing him against the manger. William Yoder, a nephew who was assisting at the farm, pulled him away from the bull and ran for help. However, Mr. Yoder died before a doctor arrived on the scene.
