Boese, 55, of Newton, were held April 28 at First Mennonite Church, Newton, with James Dunn officiating. burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. He died April 25 at Newton Medical Center. A native of Garden City, he was a longtime Newton resident and a salesman for Roberts Wholesale for the past 17 years. Survivors include his wife, Joan (Graber); one daughter, Brenda Jo Barger of Wichita; four brothers, Howard and Dale, both of Newton, Warren of Walton and Cecil of Kingman; three sisters, Irene Kaiser of Wellington, Dora Riley of Plano, Texas, and Jean Friesen of Boise, Idaho.
