John A. Becker, 80, 104 Ivy St., Nampa, died Sunday afternoon at a Nampa hospital following a brief Illness.
He was born Aug. 7, 1879, at Lincoln, Neb. He homesteaded near American Falls about 1910, and moved to Nampa in 1917, where he worked as a miller for the Scott mill until his retirement 11 years ago. He married Rachel Hornbacker at American Falls, Oct. 27, 1914. She died in Nampa, Oct. 14, 1956.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Harlan Burkholder, Melba; a son, John R. Becker, North Hollywood, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Anne Deabold, Kedrick., Mrs. Agnes Friesen, Mamouth, Ore., Dr. Mary E.
