acob Lepp of Clearbrook, B.C. passed away on November 1. He was born to Rev. Jacob and Mary (Sperling) Lepp in Dalmeny, Sask. on August 27,1909. At age 19 he made a Christian commitment at Bethany Bible In- stitute, Hepburn Sask ., was baptized and joined the Dalmeny Mennonite Brethren Church. He served as deacon, treasurer and Sunday school teacher at the church for near - ly 40 years. He married Clara Goertzen on June 10, 1934, and they farmed north of Dalmeny. In 1975 they moved to Clearbrook. He joined the Central Heights Mennonite Brethren Church (Ab- botsford) where he served as deacon and sang with the "Men of Song." He is survived by his wife . Clara; two sons: Alfred and Martha Lepp, Ed- monton, and Victor and Loretta Lepp, Terrace, B.C.; two daughters: Carol and Jerry Deal, Lethbridge, Alta., and Janice and Dave Ratzlaff, Chilliwack, B.C.; 11 grandchildren, six brothers and seven sisters. His funeral was held November 5 at Central Heights church with pastors Rudy Boschman and Rey Nickel officiating.
