Maxine Denise Siemens
Maxine Denise Siemens died May 24, 2008. She was born Sept. 9, 1922 in Wadena, Sask. to<Shortly after her birth, Maxine's family moved to Spalding, Sask ., where she enjoyed a happy childhood. After high school, she attended teacher training college in Moose Jaw, Sask., followed by four years of teaching in Saskatchewan and three in B.C. Maxine met her beloved AI at Cultus Lake in 1949 and it was love at first sight. They were married Mar. 10, 1950. Maxine was saved in 1959 through reading the Gospel of John, and was an ardent Christian for the rest of her life. The practical expression of her faith through her gentle and loving kindness influenced many. Predeceased by 1 grandson; 1 great-grandson; she is mourned by AI; children Roger (Gail), Randy (Debbie), Richard (Arlene), Joan (Jeff), Doug (Lana), and Mitch (Pam); 18 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; 6 siblings. The memorial was May 29 at Clearbrook MB Church.
