BOY DIES AFTER HEART SURGERY

Plain City, Ohio. — Rodney Dean Weaver, nine-year-old son of Min. and Mrs. Elton Yutzy of rural Plain city, died on Oct. 13 after submitting to heart surgery at Children's Hospital, Columbus.

Funeral services were held on Oct. 16 at the Maranatha Mennonite church with Min. Elmer Jantzi and Min. Willard Mayer officiating.

The surgery tried to correct Rodney's two congenital defects — a hole in the heart partition and an abnormally small vein leading from the heart to the lungs.
