Burns Prove Fatal
Hamilton, Ind. — Funeral services were held in the Amish settlement here on Oct. 13 for Katie Schwartz, five-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Schwartz who was fatally burned in a home accident.
The girl suffered third degree burns over much of her body on Oct. 4 when she poured kerosene onto hot ashes in a stove, igniting her clothing. She was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, where she died on Oct. 11.
