Goshen, Ind. &#8212; Throwing gasoline on a pile of burning leaves at his home on Oct. 18 caused fatal burns to Joe Kropf, 90, of rural Goshen. He died the following morning at Community Hospital in Indianapolis.
Funeral services were held at the Griner Conservative Church near Middlebury on Oct. 24, with Rev Christ Borntrager and Rev. Louis Kauffman officiating.
Mr. Kropf was a retired farmer and carpenter and a member of the Pine Ridge Conservative Mennonite Church at Middlebury. Survivors include six children, 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. His wife and one son preceded him in death.

DIES FROM BURNS IN LEAF FIRE

Goshen, Ind. — Throwing gasoline on a pile of burning leaves at his home on Oct. 18 caused fatal burns to Joe Kropf, 90, of rural Goshen. He died the following morning at Community Hospital in Indianapolis.

Funeral services were held at the Griner Conservative Church near Middlebury on Oct. 24, with Rev Christ Borntrager and Rev. Louis Kauffman officiating.
