MARGARET LOEPPKY

Margaret Loeppky died Feb. 1. She was born Oct. 1, 1925 in Michaelsburg, Russia to David and Helena Rempel. The family immigrated to Canada in 1926, settling in Jugaske, Sask. In 1934 they moved to Parkerview, Sask., then to Leamington, and Kitchener, Ont. She worked at Forsythe Shirt Factory and Burns Meat. She accepted Jesus and was baptized May 20, 1945 in Waterloo-Kitchener United Mennonite Church. She married George Loeppky Apr. 7, 1951. They settled in Foam Lake, Sask. She was an excellent cook, loved to garden and enjoyed her grandchildren. She crocheted for the baby showcase at the hospital and was active in the Foam Lake Hospital Auxiliary for many years. She joined Gospel Fellowship ladies group. Predeceased by 2 brothers, she is mourned by George; daughter Pat Foot; son John; 3 grandchildren; 1 brother. The funeral was Feb. 5 in Gospel Fellowship Church, Foam Lake.
