HARDY KLASSEN

Hardy Klassen died Oct. 21. He was born Oct. 31, 1930 in Kitchener, Ont. to Elizabeth and John Klassen. He be- came a Christian at an early age and lived life to the fullest. He mar- ried Ella Thiessen May 8, 1954. They were ac- tive in Kitchener MB Church where he taught Sunday school. They helped found Glencairn MB Church, Kitchen- er. He served on the Camp Crossroads board and oversaw capital improvements. He was founding member and past president of Birchcrest Cottage Association at Chesley Lake. He was involved in his business, Hardy Klassen Motors Ltd, and served on the auto- motive apprenticeship board. He enjoyed spending time with family, particularly travel- ling with Ella. He touched his family and many others with his love and acts of service. Prede- ceased by 2 brothers, 1 sister, he is mourned by Ella; daughter Anne Taylor; sons Bruce and Gord; 5 grandchildren; 1 brother. The funeral was Oct. 25 at Community Christian Re- formed Church, Kitchener.
