PETER N. FRIESEN

Peter N. Friesen died Aug. 17. He was born Feb. 1, 1914 in Gouldtown, Sask. He married Henrietta Braun of Beechy, Sask. Nov. 8, 1942. They farmed in Beechy, Gouldtown and Main Centre, retiring to Swift Current, Sask. in 1974. Peter had a deep love of Jesus, his Lord and Saviour. He demonstrated this through his concern and love for his family and friends, and his faithful service in the church. He was always ready to help people. He loved to read the Bible and devotional material. A favourite pastime was visiting and travelling with family and friends. Predeceased by infant daughter Viola, 1 granddaughter, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, he is mourned by Henrietta; children Darlene Penner, Bill, Jack,Judy, Linda Harder and Peggy Smart; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 sister. The funeral was Aug. 20 in Bridgeway MB Church, Swift Current.
