KATIE PENNER WIEBE

Katharina Wiebe died June 22. She was bom May 27,1914 to Jakob and Maria Penner in Pordenau, Molotschna. They immigrated to Canada in 1925. She accepted Christ at 13. She was baptized in Elm Creek (Man.) MB Church in 1935. She married Henry Wiebe June 9, 1935. They moved to Beamsville, Ont. They joined Vineland MB Church. She was a hard worker, resourceful, uncomplaining, an excellent seamstress. They retired to St. Catha rines, Ont. after 45 years farming. They celebrated their 65th anniversary. He died in 2000. She prayed faithfully for her descendants. Prede- ceased by Henry, 3 siblings, she leaves daughter Mary Leveille, Katie Hochhalter, Anne Neufeld, Erika Sawatzky, 9 grandchil- dren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 sister. The service was June 26 in Vineland MB Church.
