•  Mrs. Jacob L. Giesbrecht, 58, of Newton died July 10 at a Wichita hospital after a long illness.  She leaves her widower; daughters, Mrs. Bennie D. Miller, La Junta, Colo., and Mrs. Larry M. Carney, Oklahoma City, Okla.; seven brothers and nine sisters.  The funeral was held Monday forenoon at the Halstead Grace Church of God in Christ, Mennonite.
