Smith, 84, former Newton area resident, died Dec. 24 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leroy Klatt, south of Canton. the funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Friedenstal Mennonite Church, Tampa, with Rev. Harvey Jantz and Rev. Sylvester Dirks officiating. Mr. Smith was a native of the Durham community and a retired farmer. Besides Mrs. Llatt, he leaves his widow, Hattie; a son, Dennis, of Newton; five sisters and four brothers; and three grandchildren. | ● Daniel J.
