•  Mrs. Elizabeth Regier, 80, widow of Rev. J. M. Regier, died Saturday evening at Bethel Home for Aged where she had been card for the past four years after suffering a stroke of paralysis.  Rev. Regier died in 1960, a short while after they had taken up residence at North Newton.  Surviving are two sons, J. Stanley of Wichita and Robert B. of Bartlesville, Okla.; a daughter, Mrs. John (Winifred) Grenville of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, three sisters, and five grandchildren.  Mrs. Regier was a member of the Bethel College Church where the funeral was conducted Tuesday forenoon, with Rev. Russell Mast officiating.

Mrs. J. M. Regier, nee Elizabeth Lohrentz, was born Oct. 23, 1887 near Moundridge, Kan., and her childhood and youth were spent in this community.  She became a member of the Hebron Mennonite Church.
She graduated from Bethel Academy in 1911.  On June 11, 192 she was married to J. M. Regier.  During the 48 yeas that they were together they served churches in Fortuna, Mo., Freeman, S. D., Pandora, Ohio, Reedley, Calif., and the Johannesthal Church near Hillsboro, Kan.
From 1935 to 1939 they made their home on the Bethel College campus while Rev. Regier was on the Bethel College staff.  They returned to the campus for retirement in 1951.
Survivors include one daughter, Winifred (Mrs. John T.) Grenville of Omaha, Neb., and two sons, Robert of Bartlesville, Okla., and J. Stanley of Wichita, Kan.  She also leaves five grandchildren.
Surviving brothers and sisters are Sarah (Mrs. G. R. Gaeddert), Anna (Mrs. Sam Regier), both of North Newton, Sister Agnes Lohrentz of Bethel Deaconess Hospital in Newton, Peter M. Lohrentz and David Lohrentz, both of Buhler, Kan.
She died on Feb. 3, 1968 in the Bethel Home for Aged after a lengthy illness.
