• Funeral services for Mrs. John P. Goering, 85, of Moundridge were held Dec. 30 at the Hopefield Mennonite Church, with Rev. H. B. Schmidt officiating. Mrs. Goering died Dec. 28 after a brief illness. She leaves her husband; sons, Martin, J. P., Orlin and Weldon, all of Moundridge; three daughters, Mrs. Linda Goering of Moundridge, Mrs. Esther Krehbiel and Mrs. Loreen Schrag, both of Pretty Prairie; and four sisters.
