•  Mrs. Katherine Decker, 83, wife of Gus Decker, died Nov. 9 at the home in Halstead.  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church of Halstead, with Rev. Melvin Schmidt officiating.  Surviving in addition to Mr. Decker are sons Clifford of Newton and Sherman of Colorado Springs; three daughters, Mrs. Ella Nightingale of Halstead.  Mrs. Esther Barfield and Mrs. William Goad, both of Newton; one brother, 23 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
