&bull;  Mrs. Katherine Wedel, 72, widow of Prof. Edward B. Wedel, died last Saturday at the Memorial Home for the Aged, Moundridge.  She was a resident of North Newton for a number of years and a member of the Bethel College Church.  The funeral was conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Eden Mennonite Church near Moundridge by Rev. Russell L. Mast.  Surviving are a son, Dr. Arnold M. Wedel, North Newton; a daughter, Mrs. Oswald Goering of Oregon, Ill.; two brothers and four sisters, all of the Moundridge community; and five grandchildren.
