PETER ENNS

Peter Enns of St. Catharines passed away Aug. 9. He was born Apr. 21, 1919 to Aron and Maria Enns in Stepnoje, Siberia. The family immigrated to Canada in 1930, settling in Glenbush, Sask. He accepted Christ, was baptized and joined Glenbush MB Church. In 1948 he married Frieda Martens. They lived in Elm Creek, Man. Frieda died in 1950, after giving birth to twins. In May, 1951 he married Susie Loewen. In 1966 they moved to St. Catharines. He is remembered as a people person who rejoiced in seeing his children walk with the Lord and whose grandchildren adored him. Predeceased by his first wife Frieda, son Wilfred, 3 brothers and 1 sister, he is mourned by his wife Susie; children Violet Fenwick of Australia, Vic and Al of St. Catharines, Annemarie Davis of Prince Rupert, B.C., Ed of Calgary, Olive Fast of Pakistan and Linda Klassen of Vancouver; 13 grandchildren; 2 brothers and 4 sisters. The funeral was Aug. 13 in Grantham MB Church, with John Hiebert ministering.
