MRS. ANNA WIEBE
Anna Wiebe of Herbert, Saskatchewan was born in Russia on December 16, 1901. She emigrated to Canada along with her parents in 1903, and the family settled in Plum Coulee, Manitoba. In 1904 they moved to the Main Centre district of Saskatchewan. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of the Main Centre Mennonite Brethren Church.
On November 3, 1921 she married John Wiebe, and together they lived and farmed in the Main Centre area. In 1959 she and her husband moved to Herbert, where she resided until May 2 when she passed away following a heart attack.
Predeceased by her parents and one brother, she leaves to mourn her husband John of Herbert; two daughters, Ruth (Mrs. Edmund) Rosum of Mclean, Sask., and Anne (Mrs. Richard) Dyck of Swift Current, Sask.; one son, Edward, and his wife of Main Centre; one sister, Lydia (Mrs. Fred) Arnold of Regina, Sask.; and 12 grandchildren.
