MATTHEW HENRY LITTLE
The funeral service for Matthew Henry Little was held in the Woodrow Gospel Chapel in Woodrow, Sask., on March 22, with Rev. H. C. Schroeder and Rev . I. Penner officiating.
Mr. Little was born Muninane, Co. Sligo, Ireland, on October 13, 1889. He emigrated to Canada in 1912 and worked for a year .in Downsview, Ont., before coming to the Woodrow area in Saskatchewan.
He was married in 1921 to Elizabeth Mayne, and they spent a year in Ireland before returning to the farm.
Mr. Little was involved in community affairs such as the Glenarchy school board and the telephone board. He was also a pioneer member of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. He lived a full and active life, loved and respected by his family and community alike. His Christian faith he lived unpretentiously to the end.
He leaves to mourn his wife Elizabeth, three sons, two daughters and a chosen daughter and 15 grandchildren.
