IOWAN DIES WHILE ATTENDING PROGRESS EVENT IN ILLINOIS
Morton, Ill. — One death occurred during the first day of the Prairie Farmer Farm Progress show at the James Yordy farm near here Sept. 24.
Dan Orendorff, 84, of Wayland, Iowa suffered an apparent heart attack on the grounds and was pronounced dead at the office of a Morton doctor.
It was estimated that over 100,000 persons attended the first day of the farm show to see the exhibits of farm machinery and equipment, field demonstrations, and crop test plots.
