• Funeral services for Henry Schmidt, 91, retired farmer of Hillsboro, were conducted Thursday afternoon, Sept. 12, at the First Mennonite Church there. Rev. Elbert Koontz, the pastor, officiated. Mr. Schmidt died Sunday, Sept. 8 at Salem hospital in Hillsboro. His wife died in 1952. Surviving are seven sons and three daughters and their companions, 33 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one sister in South Aemrica. | |||
