• Nick Schmidt, farmer of Route 2, Newton, died Monday afternoon at the Bethesda Hospital in Goessel where he had been a patient for about two weeks. He was 60 years of age. Rev. James Waltner will officiate at funeral services Thursday forenoon in the Tabor Mennonite Church. Survivors include his widow, the former Susan Unruh, one son, four daughters, six grandchildren, two brothers and one sister. | |||
