Substantial shares in two estates have been given the General Conference Mennonite Church. The late Alfred S. Brauen of the Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora, Ohio, designated $4,300 from his estate for the conference. Wm. P. Tieszen, who died Nov. 29, gave sizeable properties, including land in Montana and Investors Mutual stock, during his lifetime. He was a member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church at Marion, S. BLUFFTON COLLEGE RECEIVES $5,835 CASH BEQUEST FROM ESTATE
Bluffton, Ohio. — A cash bequest of $5,835 has been received by Bluffton College from the estate of Alfred Brauen, retired carpenter of Pandora.
An unspecified amount in a trust fund also was bequeathed to the college. The cash gift has been placed in the development fund.
Mr. Brauen left most of his estate to Mennonite institutions of this area. In accordance with the will, a business building in Pandora has been sold and the proceeds given to the Mennonite Memorial Home here.
