Mrs. Evangeline E. Loganbill, 81, a resident of Newton since 1944, died Sunday at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge where she had been a patient since Dec. 11. The former Evangeline Becker of the Moundridge community, she married Jesse H. Loganbill at Meno, Okla. in 1916. He died in 1942. Surviving are four sons, Dr. Varden J. of Moundridge, Lanoy of Newton, Fernan C. of Chillicothe, Mo., and Denard V. of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Mathilda Becker of Chile, South America; two brothers, Albert Becker of Newton and Joe Becker of Pratt; and 11 grandchildren. Mrs. Loganbill taught in public schools for a number of years. She was a member of the Bethel College Church, where the funeral was conducted Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Esko Loewen and Rev.
