''Moyer.'' – Am 2. Januar zu Chalfond, Pa., Schwester Maria Moyer, Ehegattin von Wm. G. Moyer, im Alter von 52 Jahren, 7 Monaten und 27 Tagen, an der Schwindsucht. Am 7. wurden ihre sterbl. Ueberreste beim Line Lexington Mennoniten-Versammlungshause zur Ruhe gebracht, bei welcher Gelegenheit A. M. Fretz am Sterbehaus und J. S. Moyer im Versammlungshause predigten. Sie starb in gläubiger Gewißheit ihres Heils in Christo.

<span style="font-variant:small-caps">'''Moyer.'''</span> &#8212; At Chalfont, Pa., on Jan. 2, 1888, of consumption, Mary Moyer, nee Swartley, wife of Wm. G. Moyer, aced 52 yrs., 7 mos., and 27 days. Deceased led an examplary[''sic''] Christian life, and her last days on earth were days of special confidence and trust in her Savior. On Jan. 7, her mortal remains were laid to rest in the cemetery of the Line Lexington Mennonite Church. Funeral services were conducted at the house by A. M. Fretz, assisted by N. B. Grubb; and at the place of interment by J. S. Moyer, assisted by A. B. Shelly. A husband and five sons mourn her early demise.
