Steinbach, Manitoba. — John Krause, Jr., 28, met instant death Oct. 20 when he lost his footing while working on a high pile of gravel near Kleefeld and slid into the whirling auger of a gravel loader. He was employed as a truck driver.
Funeral services were held at the Chortitzer Mennonite Church at Niverville. His wife, a year old son, and the parents survive.
