PIONEER SETTLER OF SOMMERFELDER CHURCH CALLED BY DEATH
Altona, Manitoba. — John Stoesz, 86, pioneer immigrant from Russia and deacon of the Sommerfelder church for 47 years, died at his home on Dec. 5. Funeral services were held at the Mennonite Bergthaler church at Plum Coulee.
Surviving are his wife, ten children, 45 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren.
