—  According to the latest word received by relatives here Mrs. Arnold Krause of Watsonville, Calif. and her brother-in-law, Waldemar Krause, both critically injured in a head-on collision near Watsonville on Jan. 19, are still living and believed to be somewhat improved.  Instantly killed in the crash was Arnold L. Krause, 43, principal of the junior high school in Watsonville.  His brother, Dr. Roland Krause of Goessel attended the funeral services, held Jan. 23 at the First Baptist Church of Watsonville.  Mr. Krause was formerly an elementary school principal at Reedley, Calif.

GOESSEL DOCTOR LEARNS OF BROTHER'S DEATH IN CALIFORNIA ACCIDENT

Dr. Roland L. Krause of Goessel received the sad news from California that his brother, Arnold L. Krause, who was superintendent of grade schools in Watsonville, Caif. [sicCalif.], was instantly killed in a car accident on Sunday.

His wife and another brother, Waldemar Krause, who was a music teacher, were reported in critical condition. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Krause were married last summer.

Dr. Krause left Monday by plane for California.
