MRS. ANNA UNGER

Anna Unger was born in Waldheim, South Russia, October 28, 1893. She was married to Henry John Unger in 1912 and in 1926 emigrated to Canada. In 1934 they settled on a farm at Black Creek, B.C. She died in a car accident on December 9.

The funeral service was held in Black Creek, on December 12. She was predeceased by her husband and five sons. Left to mourn her passing are four daughters: Tina (Mrs C.) Thiessen, Anna (Mrs. Peter) Klassen, Mary (Mrs. John) Warkentin, Elfrieda (Mrs. Walter) Philippsen; two daughters-in-law: Mrs. Hilda Unger of Courtenay, B.C. and Mrs. Kay Unger of Clearbrook, B.C.; nineteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters: (Mrs.) Susan Riediger of Kitchener, Ont. and (Mrs.) Mariechen Friesen, Russia.
