GERTRUDE EPP
Gertrude Epp (nee Rempel) was born in 1890 in Crimea, South Russia. She was married to Henry Epp in 1913. They were both baptized on their faith and joined the MB church. In 1926 they moved to Canada.
Her husband died in 1932, and Gertrude remained a widow for 41 years, a member of the MB Church in Yarrow. In 1967 she moved to the Tabor Home in Clearbrook, and died in the M.S.A. hospital on March 18, a1 the age of 83.
She is survived by 6 sons (Dave, Dick, Abe, Henry, George, Bruno); 2 daughters (Frieda, Ella); 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 24 grandchildren, 16 g.grandchildren,
The funeral service was held in Yarrow on March 20, with J. Klassen and P. O. Loewen officiating.
