ANNA ANDRES
Anna Andres (nee Neubauer) was born in Freedenfeld, Russia in 1899, and passed away on July 14, 1972 at the age of 73 years. Her parents came to Canada in 1908, and homesteaded near Herbert, in the Rosefarm district. She accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age. In 1917 she was married to Cornelius K. Andres in the Greenfarm M.B. Church. They spent their working years farming in the Rosefarm area. Their marriage was blessed with 9 sons and 3 daughters. In 1952 they left the farm and settled in Herbert. She suffered the sudden loss of her husband in 1954.
Anna Andres was baptized in 1955 and became a member of the Herbert MIB Church. She spent much time reading, and caring for her flowers, which she took much pride in. She was predeceased by her husband in 1954; two sons, Ernest and Gustav; one sister, Mary.
