AGATHA HEPPNER

Agatha Heppner was born in 1896, near Waldheim, to Heinrich and Margaretha Epp. She spent the early years of her life on the farm. Her father died in 1906, and her mother married Bernhard Heppner in 1907. She was saved when she was 15, and was baptized the same year, joining the Salem Krimmer MB Church.

In 1917 she was married to Henry M. Heppner, moving to her parent's farm when they moved to Waldheim. The marriage was blessed with five sons and three daughters, who were all at the 25th wedding anniversary celebrated in 1942. In 1960 Mr. and Mrs. Heppner joined the MB Church in Waldheim; later moved to Clearbrook to retire after farming for 45 years. In 1967 they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Salem. All eight married children and their 29 grandchildren were present.

Margaret's health began to fail in 1970, and she succumbed to a major heart attack on Jun 8, 1972. She was predeceased by 3 grandchildren, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.

She leaves to mourn her beloved husband, Henry, 5 sons and 3 daughters with their families: Elmer, Art, Wilfred, Harold, Clarence, Margaret, Mathilda, and Wanda; 30 grandchildren, as well as many friends and relatives.
