FORMER HAVEN, KAN. RESIDENT DIED

Shipshewana, Ind. — Funeral services for Samuel S. Bontrager, 79, a former resident of the Haven, Kan. community, were held at the Chris D. Yoder residence near Middlebury on May 19. He died at the home May 17.

Mr. Bontrager, a native of LaGrange County, Ind., lived in Kansas for 40 years, moving back to Indiana in 1939. He was a member of the Amish church.
