MRS. PETER J. REIMER

Maria Reimer (nee Janz) was born on November 18, 1897 in Podolsk, in the Ukraine. She was saved in her youth and upon the confession of her faith, she was baptized and received into the Mennonite Brethren church. On December 18, 1918 she was married to Peter J. Reimer in Podolsk. Thirteen children were born to the union, 12 of whom are still living.

They came to Canada in 1924, living first in Saskatchewan and moving to Coaldale in 1936. She was predeceased by her husband in 1951 and by one son, John, in 1971. Her last desire expressed on her deathbed was that all the family might love the Lord as she did and that she would meet them all again in heaven.
