MRS. PETER SCHELLENBERG
Annie Schellenberg was born on January 26, 1903, to Henry and Helen Wiebe of Winkler, Manitoba. In her childhood she moved with her parents to the Herbert (Sask.) district. She committed her life to Christ in her youth, was baptized and became a member of the Greenfarm Mennonite Brethren Church. She was married to Peter Schellenberg in 1928 and in 1941 they moved to Coaldale, Alta., where they resided until her death. In 1957 she suffered a stroke and two years later she developed cancer. Through a the years that followed she was a patient sufferer.
She passed away on November 26 in the Coaldale Hospital. The funeral was conducted from the Coaldale Mennonite Brethren Church on November 29 with the brethren Rev. D. J. Pankratz, the pastor, and Rev. Jost of the Evangelical Free Church ministering.
She leaves to mourn, her husband, Peter; one son, Harry, of Lethbridge; three daughters, Linda (Mrs. Abe) Toews, Coaldale, Hilda (Mrs. Adolph) Redekopp,. Waldheim, Sask., and Edna (Mrs. Jake) Derksen, Vernon, B.C.; a daughter-in-law,. Gail, and three sons-in-law.
