JACOB DAVID WALL

Jacob D. Wall of Saskatoon passed away in the Saskatoon City Hospital on March 15. He was 41 . He was born on May 30, 1929 to John and Mary Wall of Great Deer, Saskatchewan (now of Saskatoon). It was under the ministry of Rev. H. H. Epp in 1939 that he received Christ as his personal Saviour. He was baptized and joined the fellowship of the Borden Mennonite Brethren Church on August 19, 1945.

He took his elementary and high school education at Great Deer, then went to the Bethany Bible Institute at Hepburn and followed this with studies at the Mennonite Brethren Bible College in Winnipeg. To serve his Lord and redeemer was his greatest wish and in his job as an accountant with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. where he worked for 15 years and in his fellowship with other believers he was able to be a source of spiritual strength to others and a testimony. He served on the Bethany Bible Institute board for some years was a member of the Christian Businessmen's Committee and was a member and deacon of the Nutana (Saskatoon) Church.

On June 14, 1958 he was united in marriage to Grace Nesdoly and together they made their home in Saskatoon. Their home was blessed with three sons, one of whom died in infancy. Two survive their father, Marlon Dean, born in 1967, and David Burton, born in 1969.

Besides his two sons, he is survived by his wife, Grace; his parents, John and Mary Wall of Saskatoon; two sisters Mrs. Erma Koluk and Mrs. Selma Janzen. of Saskatoon; six brothers, Marilyn of Seattle. Leslie of Regina, Albert and Lewis of Borden, Clarence and Corny of Saskatoon; and his parents-in-law, John and Elizabeth Nesdoly.
