Freeman, S. D. — Word was received here that the seven-year-old son of Jake Wipf, a leader of the Maxwell Hutterite colony, suffered a fatal electric shock when he climbed a power line pole to reach a bird nest and accidentally touched a wire.
The charge caused the lad to fall to the ground. He was rushed to the Scotland hospital, where he died a short time later.
