JOHN H. WILLEMS
John H. Willems, formerly of 341 Scott St., St. Catharines, passed away on October 22 while visiting in British Columbia. The funeral was held in the Scott St. MB Church. St. Catharines. on October 29.
Mr. Willems was born in Windom, Minnesota. in 1899 and came to Saskatchewan shortly thereafter. He accepted Christ as his Saviour in 1914 and was baptized upon his faith and received into the Mennonite Brethren while a youth . He was married to Gertrude Dick in 1920. They moved to Ontario in 1939. Mourning his departure are his wife, Gertrude; a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Helen) Epp, Jordan. Ont.; and five sisters, Mrs. P. Balzer, California. Mrs. P. Andres, Miss Sarah Willems, Mrs. D. Thiessen. and Mrs. A. Dueck all of Saskatchewan and seven grandchildren.
