ANNA DYCK

Mrs. Anna Dyck (nee Klaassen) went to be with the Lord on November 27. She was 58.

She was born April 28, 1911 at Hillsboro, Kansas and in 1918 she moved with her parents to Saskatchewan. She completed her elementary education at the Turnhill School near Herbert.

Anna accepted the Lord as her personal Saviour and was baptized on October 9, 1924, joining the Bethania Mennonite Church. Later she spent two years at the Herbert Bible School.

On October 9, 1931 she was united in marriage to Peter Dyck, a marriage that was blessed with seven children, three sons and four daughters. She and her husband settled in the Turnhill district where they farmed until moving to Swift Current in 1959. In Swift Current they joined the Mennonite Brethren Church and Mrs. Dyck took active part in the Senior Ladies' Auxiliary. She also enjoyed her nine years of service in the Swift Current Union Hospital.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband; three sons, Arnold of Regina, Edward of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Peter of Edmonton; four daughters, Lucille (Mrs. Edward Wall of Swift Current), Anita (Mrs. Ian McLean of Wyndham, Australia), Mary (Mrs. Alvin Redekopp) and Erna, both of Swift Current; their families; and three brothers and six sisters. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

The funeral service for Mrs. Dyck was conducted in the Swift Current Church with Rev. Isaac Bergen, Rev. Abe Neufeld and Rev. Frank Peters ministering.
