The funeral services of Mr. Frantz [''sic'' Franz] F. Janzen were held at the M. B. church Sunday, August 14, 1927 and interment made at the Mennonite cemetery south of town.
Mr. Janzen was born September 13, 1844 in Sparrau, Russia and married to Anna Neufeld in 1871.  They moved to America in 1875 settling in Minnesota.
He died at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 6 days of acute indigestion or infection of the stomach.  He was sick only three days, but in terrible pains.  He died at the Salem hospital. &#8212; Hillsboro Star.

The funeral services of Mr. Frantz [sic Franz] F. Janzen were held at the M. B. church Sunday, August 14, 1927 and interment made at the Mennonite cemetery south of town.
