— Mrs. Henry Boese passed away Friday, March 4, at the home of her son, Sam Boese, three miles east of Pawnee Rock, following a short illness. She reached the age of 93 [sic 90] years and twelve days. Helena Jantz [sic Janzen] was born in Jadwanin, Poland, February 21, 1842, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jantz [sic Andreas Janzen].
