MARIA FRIESEN
Mrs. Maria Friesen, late of 2729 Centennial Street and formerly of East Chilliwaek, BC., passed away June 24 in the MSA General Hospital. Mrs. Friesen was born in 1893 in South Russia and had been in Canada for the past 23 years and in the Fraser Valley for the past 23 years.
Surviving are her husband John M. Friesen, one daughter, Mrs. Ben D. (Elsie) Falk, Niverville, Manitoba; one son John Friesen, McDonald Road, Chilliwack, l2 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held June 29 at the Clearbrook MB Church with Rev. H. G. Thielman officiating. Interment was in the Mennonite section of Hazelwood cemetery.
