David  Engbrecht passed away on April 5, at the age of 66 years. His death followed after persistent illness and a series of operations. He was born on May  10,  1900, in  Radagay, South Russia. At the age of 22, he was baptized on confession of his faith and received into the Mennonite Brethren Church. In 1925 he emigrated to Mexico and came to Canada one year later.He came to Yarrow in 1946, and it was there he met his wife, Esther Lutke.
