Gerhard G. Friesen of Vineland, Ont., died in the Hamilton Hospital on Dec. 17 of a liver ailment. He was born in Russia on June 30, 1901, and baptized in 1924. He came to Canada in 1926 and lived at Gem, Alta., for 22 years, where he was active in church work. He became Bethesda Home's business manager on January 1, 1951, where his valuable service cannot be described in words. At Bethesda he leaves a great void. At the funeral on Dec. 20 in Vineland Rev. He leaves to mourn his mother, wife, three sons, two daughters and several brothers and sisters.
